A man, 20, and woman 19 entered the Elmont Deli at 237-01 Linden Boulevard Wednesday, July 31 at 3:30 a.m., according to the Nassau County Police Department.
After leaving the store, the two went to their vehicle which was parked on 237th Street, said police.
Shortly after entering the vehicle, two unknown men allegedly approached the driver’s side door and opened it, according to police.
They reportedly demanded the victim’s property but he did not comply, said Nassau County Police.
One of the men entered the rear seat and allegedly began to choke the victim, according to police.
The men allegedly took an unknown amount of cash and fled eastbound, said police.
The men reportedly went into a blue colored vehicle which had two persons sitting in the front street and fled westbound.
Following an investigation, police arrested:
- Leann Horne, 20, of 87 Beverly Place, Levittown
- Tianna Reid, 18, of 193-06 99th Avenue, Hollis
- Jahvon Thompson, 24, of 193-06 99th Ave., Hollis
- Taishawn Blanton, 20, of 110-40 175th Ave., Hollis
Horne was charged with second-degree robbery and was previously arraigned, said police.
Thompson, Reid, and Blanton are charged first-degree robbery and fourth-degree conspiracy, according to police.
Reid and Blanton are additionally charged with criminal use of a firearm and second-degree robbery, said police.
They will be arraigned on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at First District Court in Hempstead.
