Suspect At Large After Snatching Rings Valued At $16,600 From Long Island Jewelry Store

Police are searching for a man who allegedly snatched two engagement rings, collectively valued at $16,600, off a jeweler's counter on Long Island.

The incident took place at Kay Jewelers at the Westfield South Shore Mall in Bay Shore at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, according to Suffolk County Police. The man reportedly asked to see engagement rings, then grabbed two rings before fleeing the store on foot.
