The incident took place around 2:50 a.m., Saturday, July 27, when a 26-year-old woman was approached by a man requesting medical assistance in the area of 24th Street and 23rd Avenue, said the New York City Police.
The man told the woman he was in a bike accident and injured. During the interaction, he allegedly touched the victim's breasts, NYPD said.
The woman then fled from the scene and entered her nearby residence. At approximately 4:30 a.m., the woman woke up to find the same man in her room, standing over her bed, police said.
The victim screamed and the man fled out the bedroom's second-floor window. There were no items taken or injuries reported as a result of the incidents, police added.
The man is described as being Hispanic, approximately 30-years-old, weighing 180 lbs., 5-foot-8, with close-cut short dark hair. He last seen wearing a black t-shirt.
