The Nassau County Police Department said the incident happened at the Marriott hotel, located at 101 James Doolittle Boulevard in Uniondale, at about 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Police said a hotel employee reported that an ATM machine was missing from a hallway between the front desk and emergency door.

Investigators later determined that two male suspects had driven to the front of the hotel with a U-Haul truck and entered through a doorway, NCPD said.

They then disconnected the ATM machine and removed it from the hotel with a hand cart they had brought into the building, authorities said.

The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction, police said.

NCPD said the two suspects were wearing dark clothing, hoods and masks.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.
