The swimmer was reported missing at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22 and recovered by the Long Beach Fire Department, police say.
No injuries were reported.

The Nassau County Police Department reports that a swimmer who went missing at Lido Beach has been located on a sandbar.
