A popular Long Island diner was destroyed during a three-alarm fire that took more than 100 firefighters to battle.

The fire began around 4:51 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Harvest Diner at 841 Old County Road in Westbury, said Nassau County Police.

The diner, which has been serving locals for some 40 years, was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, police said.

The Westbury Fire Department was assisted by the Carle Place Fire Department, Jericho Fire Department, East Williston Fire Department, Bethpage Fire Department, and the Plainview Fire Department.

There was at least 40 fire apparatus and 100 fire personnel on scene.

Police said no one was injured during the fire.

Old Country Road is still closed in westbound between Urban Avenue and Washington Avenue, police added.

An investigation is continuing.
