Police in Suffolk County are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a pair of men driving in a car with Alabama license plates that walked out on the bill after a meal at a popular hibachi restaurant in North Babylon.
Investigators from the Suffolk County Police Department and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers released photos of two men and their vehicle after they failed to pay for their meal at Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet on Deer Park Avenue at approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17.
According to police, the men then left the scene in a dark-colored Mitsubishi sedan with an Alabama license plate.
A reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest has been offered by the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers. Anyone with information regarding the suspects has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” and the message to 274637.
