A 77-year-old woman who went missing on Long Island has been found.
Helen Khan, who was reported missing out of Uniondale at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, has been located, Nassau County Police announced early Wednesday evening, Aug. 7.

Police have issued an alert for a missing 77-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.
The Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad detectives unit are attempting to locate Helen Khan, who was reported missing out of Uniondale at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5.
According to investigators, Khan was last seen leaving her Uniondale home driving a gray 2008 Hyundai Accent with the license plate EJA9253.
Investigators described Khan as a 5-foot-1 Indian woman weighing approximately 125 pounds with brown eyes, brown hair, and a brown complexion. Police were unable to provide a description of what she might be wearing, or where she might be going.
