A man wielding a Samurai sword inside a liquor store was shot and killed by a store employee on Long Island.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 in Port Jefferson at Port Jeff Liquors, located at 156 East Main St.
The suspect reportedly entered the store swinging the sword before being shot by the clerk. The suspect was pronounced dead a the scene after an employee reported the incident in a 911 call, according to officials.
Further details, including the man's identity, have not yet been released.
The incident is under investigation.
