As of late Friday morning, Oct. 18, PSEG Long Island utility crews were dealing with 551 outages, impacting 1,143 of its 1,161,924 customers.
In Nassau, 178 customers were still in the dark, while Suffolk was hit harder, with 964 customers still reporting outages. Complete restoration is expected by midnight on Friday night.
