Have You Seen Her? Search On For Missing Long Island Teen

Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating a teenage girl who disappeared after leaving her Long Island home.

Melany Najarro, a missing 15-year-old girl, was last seen in South Hempstead on Saturday, Sept. 23, police said.

Melany Najarro, age 15, was last seen at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23 leaving her home in South Hempstead.

Nassau County Police described her as being five feet tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds.

She has brown eyes and black hair that has been dyed red. A description of her clothing was not provided.

Anyone with information regarding Najarro’s whereabouts is urged to contact Nassau County Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or to call 911.
