Heavy Rainfall Clears Out Of Putnam By Friday

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Showers will linger in Putnam County through the early afternoon on Thursday before skies begin to clear on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers will be likely between noon and 2 p.m. on Wednesday with high temperatures in the low 70s. Chance of rain is near 100 percent. 

Friday will begin mostly cloudy, but will gradually clear to mostly sunny skies with a high around 70 degrees. 

Isolated showers could threaten the area on Saturday morning, but the day is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures around 69. Chance of morning showers is around 20 percent.
