Firefighters and emergency responders in Croton-on-Hudson were called to the scene of two crashes on Monday, Feb. 10, both occurring within a short span of time. The first incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. on Grand Street, where a vehicle crashed off the roadway. A Stony Point man was charged with alleged disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he threw a fit because he could not reach his home due to a holiday parade. Cameron Truesdale, age 41, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. by Stony Point Police while they were conducting traffic control for the parade. According to Lt. A person was injured in an early morning two-car crash at a busy Northern Westchester intersection, fire officials said. The incident happened on Monday, Jan. 22 around 7:40 a.m., when two vehicles collided at the intersection of South Riverside and Croton Point Avenues in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department. Lane Closure: Route 6 In Northern Westchester To Be Affected
Traffic on a busy main route in Northern Westchester will soon be affected by a closure that will only allow traffic to pass through a single lane controlled by a temporary signal. Beginning on Friday, July 21 at 3 p.m., Route 6 in Cortlandt at Roa Hook Road will be reduced to a single lane, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. One Hospitalized In Two-Car Mahopac Crash
One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a two-car crash in Mahopac. The crash took place around 9 a.m., Monday, in the area of 668 Union Valley Road, according to Mahopac EMS. Along with units from the Carmel Police Department, a call for a second ambulance from Mahopac Falls was dispatched.
