Man Accused Of Selling Drugs, Fleeing Police Nabbed On Outstanding Warrants In Putnam A 33-year-old Connecticut man accused of selling controlled substances and fleeing from officers was jailed in the Hudson Valley after being apprehended on multiple outstanding warrants, police said. K9 Units Help Track Down Fleeing Suspects After Chase Starts In Westchester: Police Two suspects unsuccessfully avoided justice after leading authorities on a chase throughout numerous towns in the Hudson Valley, police said.  On Monday, Dec. 19, around 9:45 a.m., police in Northern Westchester County noticed a 2019 Toyota Camry traveling faster than 90 mph on Interstate 684 in Bedford. Dutchess Man On Parole Accused Of Dealing Meth In Putnam, Sheriff Says A  man on parole has been accused of dealing meth in Putnam, according to the Putnam Sheriff. Members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they developed information that a man was involved in the sale of methadone within the county in July of 2019. NEU members allegedly made contact with the man, identified as Thomas Simmons, 39, of Dover Plains, and arranged for the purchase of Methadone.
