New Details, IDs: Fairfield County Mother Drowned Daughter, Then Killed Herself, Police Say
Police have released the identity of a woman who was found dead inside a Fairfield County home along with her 7-year-old daughter.
Forty-six-year-old Tracy Do, of Westport, was found dead around 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, at 1 Lyndale Park, after police responded to the home for a report of an unresponsive female, said Westport PD Lieutenant David Wolf.
The deceased juvenile also resided at the above address and is Do’s daughter.

Man Dies After Jumping From Bridge In Area
A local man was killed after he jumped from an area bridge.
The incident took place around 6:05 p.m., Saturday, April 24 in Dutchess County when 37-year-old Brendan J. Paredes, of Wappinger, jumped from the bridge on the Walkway Over the Hudson in the City of Poughkeepsie, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.
State Police, New York State Park Police, City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department all responded to the bridge in an attempt to rescue Paredes, Hicks said.

The founder and chief executive officer of a national restaurant chain died by suicide amid a battle with COVID-19-related symptoms, the company announced.
Kent Taylor, who launched Texas Roadhouse in 1993, was 65 years old.
The symptoms included severe tinnitus, or ringing in the ear, and his suffering had increased in recent days, the company, Texas Roadhouse, announced in a statement sent to CNN.

Woman Dies After Jumping From Bridge In Area
A woman was killed after jumping from an area bridge.
Dutchess County resident Nicole H. Gill, age 53, of Red Hook, was killed after jumping from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge on Monday, March 8, said AJ Hicks of the New York State Police.
According to Hicks, the department responded to a report of a suicide attempt at the bridge around 4:20 p.m.
State police, along with the town of Ulster Police Department, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, the town of Red Hook Police Department, and the Rhinebeck Fire Department responded to the bridge for a recovery effort, he said.
