Duo Wanted For Fairfield County Smash-Grab Saks Fifth Avenue Burglary Nabbed In Westchester
Two men have been arrested for allegedly smashing their car through the front of a Saks Fifth Avenue store and making off with merchandise.
The incident took place in Greenwich around 3:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 2 on Greenwich Avenue.
According to Capt. Mark E. Zuccerella, of the Greenwich Police, officers responded to the store located at 205 Greenwich Ave., after being notified that a vehicle had driven into the front doors and the vehicle occupants were currently stealing items from within the store.

Two Hospitalized, One Critical, After Crashing Stolen Car During Chase, State Police Say
Two men were hospitalized, one in critical condition, after fleeing from New York State Police troopers in an allegedly stolen vehicle before crashing in the area.
Troopers on patrol at approximately 2 a.m. on Friday, May 7 on Route 9W in Ulster County in the Town of Lloyd attempted to stop the driver of a 2005 Nissan Sentra after he committed a traffic violation.
The troopers initiated a traffic stop, police said, but as they approached the Nissan, the driver - later identified as 20-year-old Poughkeepsie resident Anthony Ermo sped away from the scene, prompting a pursuit.

Man Admits To Stealing Van At Hospital In NY, Burglarizing CT Post Office
A man moved quickly after being discharged from a Manhattan hospital, stealing a van before breaking into a Fairfield County post office and attempting to steal packages.
Leon Clinedinst, 37, formerly of Ocala, Florida, pleaded guilty this week in Bridgeport Court to one count of burglary of a U.S. post office, and one count of interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle following an incident in January.
