Poughkeepsie Man, Woman Caught With Thousands Worth Of Heroin, Crack A man and woman from Poughkeepsie are both behind bars after state police say they were in possession of thousands of dollars worth of heroin and crack cocaine. Investigators from the Hudson Valley Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, during the course of a narcotics investigation, initiated a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle on Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at approximately 5 p.m. Glassine bags used for packaging heroin were observed in plain view during the stop, police said.
