Crashes, Dangerous Driving, Multiple DWIs Occur In Putnam Over Holiday Weekend
Several people, including Connecticut residents, were apprehended for impaired driving over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the Hudson Valley, including several incidents involving crashes and dangerous driving behaviors, authorities announced.
The arrests, which occurred in Putnam County between Tuesday, Nov. 26, and Wednesday, Dec. 4, were announced by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.
The first of the incidents happened on Nov. 26, when deputies were dispatched to a two-car crash on Route 311 in Patterson near McManus Road North.

Covid-19: Here's List Of Vaccine Providers In Putnam
The Putnam County Department of Health has released a new list of COVID-19 vaccine providers for week eight of its vaccination program.
Vaccinations for Putnam County residents who are eligible can be scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11, with a list of providers - which can be located here - that will be updated weekly by the Department of Health.
Currently, healthcare workers, police, fire, schools, daycare, grocery, corrections officers, restaurant workers, delivery drivers, and for-hire drivers are eligible.

Covid-19: Alert Issued For Exposure At Area Supermarket
An alert has been issued for potential exposure to COVID-19 for those who worked at or visited a supermarket in the area.
The Putnam County Health Department said that a member of the public who has tested positive was at the ShopRite located on Route 52 in Carmel between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
"Please watch for symptoms of COVID-19 which include fever, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea," the department said. "Con…
