Transportation Supervisor Resigns Amid Bus Delays, Complaints At Mahopac Schools
Mahopac School Superintendent Anthony DiCarlo announced that district Transportation Supervisor Pamela Romeo has resigned. The change comes after ongoing transportation problems and complaints since the first day of school on Sept. 5. Parents reported that elementary school children were arriving home from school as much as two hours late. Some buses were late arriving at school in the morning, in some cases disrupting the morning roll call for attendance.
