Stew Leonard's Eyes This Location For Next New Store Stew Leonard's is eyeing a familiar location as a possible location for its next new supermarket. The Connecticut-based company confirmed on Wednesday, May 8, that the town of Orange in New Haven County is one of several locations being "looked at" for the family-owned grocer's ninth location, according to Meghan Bell, a spokeswoman for the company. ID Released For Pedestrian Killed While Retrieving Cell Phone On I-95 A man who was struck and killed on I-95 while he retrieved his cell phone from the median has been identified. Hoa Ngo, 34, of Sacramento, Calif., was killed around 2:30 a.m. Monday on I-95 northbound just north of Exit 41 in Orange, said Sgt. Eric J Haglund with the Connecticut State Police. An initial investigation into the incident revealed that prior to the accident, Ngo was traveling with three adult friend in their pick-up truck towing a boat trailer when he accidentally dropped the phone out of an open window, Haglund said. Woman 23, Charged In Route 15 Crash That Killed Fairfield County Resident A 23-year-old woman who had a blood alcohol content at twice the legal limit has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a man during a crash on Route 15. Fairfield County Man ID'd As Fatal Route 34 Crash Victim Police have identified a 36-year-old Fairfield County man killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 34 in New Haven County on Tuesday morning. Christopher Etes of Sandy Hook was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Buckingham Road, according to the Derby Police. Etes, who was driving a Jeep when he crashed into a box truck, was the driver at fault in the incident, Derby Police said in a statement.
