Man Traumatically Injured In Motorcycle Crash In Mahopac, Airlifted To Hospital
A 50-year-old man suffered traumatic injuries and was airlifted to a hospital after crashing his motorcycle in the Hudson Valley.
The crash happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Jan. 12 around 12:30 p.m., when a motorcycle crashed on Croton Falls Rd. (Route 34) in Mahopac after failing to negotiate a turn, losing control, and hitting a guardrail, Carmel Police Lt. Michael Bodo said on Monday, Jan. 13.
The rider, a 50-year-old Mahopac resident, suffered traumatic injuries to his lower body and pelvic area, Bodo said.

40-Year-Old Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash In Hudson Valley
A 40-year-old man was injured during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley while allegedly attempting to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone.
The crash took place in Ulster County around 7 am.m., Sunday, Aug. 6 in the town of Ulster Park.
According to Sgt. Collins Reynolds, of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of 46 Ulster Ave., on Ulster Ave., for a report of a motorcycle versus a vehicle.

A motorist was charged with driving while intoxicated and without a license after crashing into another vehicle, killing one person in the region, according to authorities.

A 26-year-old man was killed during a multi-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley.
It happened in Orange County around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14 in the town of Wallkill, on Schutt Road.
According to detectives, when officers arrived on the scene, they found a 26-year-old New Windsor resident lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive.
Officers immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR, police said.
