Separate Crashes Cause Gridlock On I-84 This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of I-84 during the Wednesday evening commute following a pair of separate crashes that each blocked lanes. The first crash, an eastbound incident, occurred near the junction to the Taconic State Parkway (Exit 16) with stopped traffic at the scene and stop-and-go delays of about a half-hour to Lime Kiln Road (Exit 15). Just as that lane was cleared, a westbound crash occurred, also near the Taconic, that took out the left lane on that side of the highway until just before 6:30 p.m. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
