Westchester Native Who Was Photographer, Former High School Athlete Dies At Age 27
A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, who worked as a freelance photographer and a carpenter, has died unexpectedly at age 27.
Putnam County resident Ryan Daly, of Mahopac, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, according to his obituary.
Daly was born in North Tarrytown, and he was a graduate of Mahopac High School with the class of 2012, his obituary said.
He went on to earn a bachelor's degree at Savannah College of Art and Design.
During his time at school, he also played football, basketball, and lacrosse, his obituary said.

23-Year-Old Hudson Valley Woman Remembered For Her 'Overwhelmingly Desire To Help Others'
As family and friends say a final goodbye to a 23-year-old woman from the region who died after being struck in the head by a passing train, she is being remembered for her desire to help others.
Putnam County resident, Hope Mantovi, of Mahopac, was struck around 8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19, in Woodlawn in the Bronx, said Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials.
Mantovi died on Friday, April 8, at St. Barnabas Hospital from injuries incurred during the accident.

A Putnam County MMA fighter and deli co-owner died unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 29 at the age of 37.
Born in White Plains on Feb. 7, 1983, Joseph A. Vitale owned and operated Anthony's Deli with his father, Anthony, on East Lake Boulevard, which is now permanently closed according to Google. He had been a Mahopac resident since he was in the fourth grade, according to his obituary.

Dr. John Alexander, Chiropractor In Area, Dies Suddenly At 58
Dr. John A. Alexander, a chiropractor in the Hudson Valley, died suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the age of 58.
Alexander, a resident of Mahopac, was born on Feb. 6, 1962, in New York City, the son of John and Braulia (Alvino) Alexander.
John attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where earned his doctorate in chiropractic medicine.
On April 4, 1992, he married Phyllis Spaccarelli at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac.

Linda Eulagio Of Mahopac, Beloved Mom, Dies At 57 After Long Battle With Cancer
A devoted Mahopac mother who fought cancer for a decade, Linda Eulagio, has died at age 57 on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
She was the daughter of Frank (deceased) and Rosina (Bologna) Eulagio.
Eulagio fought a long, hard battle with cancer for 10 years, said the obituary.
She was strong-willed and courageous each and every day. The support she received through friends and family never went underappreciated.
Eulagio is survived by her mother Rosina, and daughters, Nicole and Erica Quaedvlieg.

An area business owner died Sunday, June 16 at 47.
Jason Grotsky Caragine lived in Mahopac and was the owner and lead garage door technician of Door Doctor in Mahopac.
Caragine was born in Yonkers on Sept. 27, 1971, the son of Louisa Deltreste and David Grotsky. He graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers.
Caragine was a classic car enthusiast, loved spending time with his sons and granddaughter, and enjoyed sharing his mechanical knowledge with his children and their friends.
