A 30-year-old Connecticut man faces several charges after allegedly stealing from an elderly residential facility in New York, police said.
New London County resident David Durlach of Waterford, age 30, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 1 following a long-term investigation into burglaries at a Westchester County elderly residential facility located in Greenburgh.

Housekeeper Stole $25K Worth Of Jewelry From Westchester County Homes, Pawn Shops, Police Say
A housekeeper is charged with stealing multiple pieces of jewelry from Westchester County residences and pawn shops, police said.
In June 2022, police in Greenburgh started investigating the theft of jewelry worth over $25,000 from a residence in the town, Greenburgh police said.
On Tuesday, Nov. 8, police arrested 42-year-old Azra Zecirovic of New Rochelle and charged her with the theft, saying that she was employed by the cleaning company that provided service to the home where the jewelry was stolen from, according to police.

One Killed In Fiery, Head-On Westchester Crash
One person was killed and another injured during a head-on crash between a fuel tanker and a four-door sedan in Westchester County.
The crash took place around 11:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, on Route 9A, also known as Saw Mill River Road, in Greenburgh.
According to Lt. Kobie Powell, of the Greenburgh Police, following the crash, the cab of the truck and the sedan burst into flames. The driver of the sedan was killed, he added.

A man and a teen armed with a knife and a gun were arrested after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Westchester Rite Aid.
Elijah McLendon, age 21, and Elijah Walls, age 19, both of the Bronx, were arrested around 5 p.m., Sunday, May 23, after Greenburgh Police were called to the drug store on East Hartsdale Avenue, in Hartsdale.
Greenburgh officers responded to the store on a report of three men armed with a knife and a gun stealing merchandise, Greenburgh PD Lt. Kobie Powell said.

Man Stabbed In Head, Beaten During Attack In Westchester, Police Say
Police are searching for a group of people who allegedly assaulted a man and stabbed him in the head in Westchester County.
The incident took place around 1 a.m., Sunday, May 9 at the BP gas station, at 190 Aqueduct Road, in White Plains, said Greenburgh Police Lt. Kobie Powell.
According to Powell, police responded to the area and found that the suspects had fled the area in a blue Mazda 3 and a grey Toyota sedan toward Tarrytown Road.

A Northern Westchester man was arrested after allegedly fleeing from police and resisting arrest after failing to stop for having an expired tag.
Michael Goldberg, age 29, of Yorktown, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 21, after Yorktown police spotted him driving with a suspended registration, police said.
