A firefighter was injured during a blaze at a Northern Westchester home that began in the residence's garage. The incident began on Thursday, May 16 just after 6 p.m., when Croton-on-Hudson firefighters raced to a home on Memory Lane for a reported blaze. 12 Families Displaced In Two-Alarm Westchester Blaze That Causes Metro-North Delays
Ten firefighters were injured and a dozen families displaced when a fire broke out that left two houses in Westchester destroyed and caused Metro-North delays. Crews were dispatched to 781 Warburton Ave. in Yonkers at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, when flames broke out in the first building affected, Deputy Fire Chief Daniel Flynn said. Two-Alarm Red Hook Blaze Heavily Damages Home, Injures Firefighter
One firefighter was injured in a massive, two-alarm blaze that heavily damaged a single-family home in Red Hook and sent the homeowner to the hospital for anxiety-related issues. Red Hook firefighters responded to a report of smoke around 11:30 p.m. Sunday at 36 Spencer Drive, according to Red Hook Asst. Chief Shawn Ball.
