Hudson Valley Man Charged For Fatal Fentanyl Overdose
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the fentanyl overdose death of a Connecticut man.
Rockland County resident, Daniel McDonald, age 32, of New City, was charged on Monday, Jan. 23, following a five-month investigation in Fairfield County into the fentanyl death, said Capt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police.
On Monday, Aug. 29, Stamford officers responded to a Maple Street home for the report of a dead man, Scanlon said.

Hudson Valley Crack Dealer Nabbed During Warrant Search, Police Say
An alleged Hudson Valley crack dealer was busted with drugs and cash during a warrants search of his home, according to authorities.
The search took place in Dutchess County on Friday, Dec. 16, on South Chestnut Street in Beacon.
According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris, coordinator of the Dutchess County Task Force, agents executed the search warrant on the home of Raequan Keemer, age 27, of Beacon, following an investigation into drug sales in the area.

Driver Charged With Using School Bus To Deal Heroin In Fairfield County
A school bus driver for the Bridgeport School District was nailed by police for using the bus to deal heroin in Fairfield County, according to the Stratford Police.
Garfield Howell, 29, of Stratford, was arrested Thursday, following a months-long investigation by the Stratford Police Narcotics Vice and Intelligence Unit, said Capt. Frank Eannotti.
During the investigation, detectives found that Howell, a school bus driver for WE Transport in Bridgeport, using the bus to purchase and deliver heroin on numerous occasions, Eannotti said.
