Hudson Valley Man Nabbed With 2 Guns After Chase, Police Say A 39-year-old Hudson Valley man was nabbed with two guns after police received a 911 call reporting a man with a gun. The incident took place in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 5 on Main Street. According to the city of Poughkeepsie Police, officers responded to the area of 299 Main St., after receiving the call and spotted a man matching the description provided and attempted to stop him. Hero Peekskill DPW Employee Honored By Police Peekskill Police Department gave "a big shout out" this week to Shawn Dasecke, a city Department of Public Works employee who was honored at the Common Council meeting.
