Woman From Region Charged With Making A Threat Of Mass Harm Against School A woman from the region has been charged with allegedly making a threat of mass harm after she threatened to blow up a middle school. The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 5:20 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22 in the village of Liberty. According to Chief Steven D'Agata of the Liberty Police Department, Chiffvon Steele, age 42, of Liberty, commented to staff at Liberty Middle School that she would  “blow this [expletive] place up." Woman Charged After Dog Bites Child At Home In Northern Westchester, Police Say A woman was arrested for failure to license her dog after the animal allegedly bit a child visiting her home in the area. The incident was reported to Yorktown Police on Monday, Nov. 4, when an Amawalk resident came to the department to report that her daughter had been bitten by a dog while visiting the home of Christy Gooden, 32, said the Yorktown Police. An investigation into the incident found that the dog was allegedly unlicensed at the time of the bite, police said. As a result, a criminal summons was issued for Gooden, police said.
