Orange County Man Nabbed On I-87 For Possession Of Felony-Weight Narcotics: Police
A traffic stop on I-87 in Albany led to the arrest of a Walden man for possession of felony-weight narcotics, the New York State Police reported.
According to Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 13, around 10:2o a.m., when troopers stopped a vehicle for multiple violations.
The driver, identified as Orange County resident Ibo E. Boone, age 37, of Walden, was found to have a significant quantity of controlled substances, O'Neil said.

Four residents of the Hudson Valley and two from Fairfield County were among 68 people charged during a four-day New York State Police detail that focused on the illegal distribution of controlled substances at the Disc Jam Music Festival in Stephentown, New York, east of Albany.

A drug raid in Poughkeepsie has led to the discovery and seizure of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and a loaded handgun, police say.
A search warrant was carried out at Apartment 204 on 159 Franklin Street in Poughkeepsie on Thursday, Feb. 14 by members of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department Neighborhood Recovery Unit and Emergency Services Unit, Poughkeepsie Police said.
During the search, officers recovered and seized:
Approximately 10 grams of cocaine
16 grams of a heroin/fentanyl compound
19 grams of hashish
A loaded .45 caliber handgun
