ATV Mob Causes Havoc On Hudson Valley Roadway
State Police are investigating a mob of ATVs and motorcycles who took over a roadway in the region, injuring one and threatening a trooper. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, on Route 9D in Wappingers Falls. Northern Westchester Town Bans ATVs On Public Property After Man Attacked At Park
A Northern Westchester town has banned the use of all-terrain vehicles on public property almost a year after a man was run down at a baseball field. In an announcement on Friday, July 19, the Town of Yorktown revealed it adopted new regulations for ATVs and off-highway motorcycles following a vehicular assault in late August that left a man with severe injuries. New Update: 21-Year-Old Intentionally Injured Man With ATV In Yorktown, Police Say A person was sent to a hospital after being struck by an all-terrain vehicle at a baseball field in Northern Westchester, police said. Suspect Throws Brick Through State Police Barracks In Northern Westchester
Despite a full-out search including helicopters, a suspect who threw a brick through the window of a state police barracks in the Hudson Valley managed to escape. The incident took place on Thursday, Feb. 24 Northern Westchester at the State Police Somers Barracks, located at 295 Route 100 during the evening hours.
