Westchester Native Who Ran Business With His Brother Dies At Age 53
A Hudson Valley man who ran a collectible sports card sales company with his brother has died at the age of 53. Dutchess County resident Ronald Louis Vece Jr. of Poughquag, died at his home on Wednesday, July 13, according to his obituary. Vece was born in Yonkers and graduated from Arlington High School in Lagrangeville, where he played soccer, his obituary said. He also belonged to the Hudson Valley Umpire's Association. Lifelong Peekskill Resident Pauline Hunt Dies
Pauline Marie (Frugis) Hunt, 82, of Peekskill died Sept. 15 in the Royal Cape Cod Rehabilitation Center in Buzzards Bay, MA. She was the widow of the late Charles R. Hunt and the daughter of the late Sebastian Frugis and Beatrice (Tritto) Hongach. Pauline was born in White Plains and was a lifelong resident of Peekskill. She graduated from Peekskill High School in 1955. Mrs. Hunt was a loving mother and devoted friend who worked at AT&T, Robinson’s Florist, as a medical office assistant and volunteered for the Peekskill Community Hospital Auxiliary.
