Unbeaten Carmel Football Team Is Too Much For Ramapo

CARMEL, N.Y. -- A large crowd turned out at Carmel High School Saturday to watch the Rams host Ramapo, and the Homecoming Day crowd ended up getting quite a show from their Rams, who dominated in a 41-2 victory.

The win kept the Rams unbeaten at 3-0, while Ramapo, which struggled to get anything going against the Carmel defense, fell to 1-2.

Carmel is set to host North Rockland on Friday 9/25 at 7 p.m. 

In other varsity games involving Putnam-area teams, Mahopac fell to Clarkstown North 21-0, Lakeland beat Byram Hills 25-22, Lourdes downed Somers 40-3 and Brewster defeated Sleepy Hollow 27-4.
