Two-Car Crash Snarls Traffic On Route 6 In Mahopac

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A two-car crash brought Saturday afternoon traffic to a crawl on Route 6 in front of the Cargain Funeral Home in the Mahopac Fire district on Saturday.

As the occupants of the cars were checked out by EMTs from Mahopac FD EMS and EMStar paramedics, Carmel Police, Deputies from PCSO and Mahopac Fire Police set up traffic dividers so two lanes of traffic were established, according to Jack Casey, public information officer for the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
