Rescue Helicopter Landing Leads To Road Closure Following Incident In Brewster

A stretch of a busy roadway in Putnam County was closed late Monday afternoon for the landing of a rescue helicopter in Brewster.

The incident occurred at the Dunmore Corporation in Brewster at around 4:35 p.m., causing the closure in the area of 3633 Danbury Road adjacent to I-84.

Rescue personnel were called to the scene along with a medical helicopter.

Motorists were asked to avoid the area. 

Dunmore Corp manufactures engineered films for coated, metalized, and laminated films, foils, and fabrics.
