Putnam Valley Man Faces Charge Of Punching Woman

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 35-year-old Putnam Valley man was arrested after being accused of punching a female in the face during a domestic dispute, authorities said.

Putnam County sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call on Mathes Street in Putnam Valley. Sergio A. Lamouth, was arrested, and has been charged with third-degree assault and second-degree harassment.

If found guilty of the misdemeanor charges, the defendant faces up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.00 for each charge.
