Firefighters Battle Lake Casse House Fire In Mahopac

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Firefighters knocked down a blaze at a home on Longdale Road in the Lake Casse section of Mahopac late Saturday afternoon.

A full fire and EMS response, along with multiple units from Carmel Police, called for mutual aid from Carmel F.D., Kent F.D. and Mahopac Falls F.D. for tankers, authorities said. 

A call was put out for Mahopac Fire Police units to close all roads to the scene for the safety of firefighters. 

Mohegan F.D. was requested to the scene with their FAST Team. 

The blaze was knocked down and the home sustained damage, particularly in the rear of the house.
