After being alerted by parents, state police investigators determined Dulvin E. Andres Ovalle of Brewster raped the victim known to him who was under the age of 15 years old. Ovalle also sent indecent material to the cell phone of the victim, state police from the Brewster barracks said.
Andres Ovalle was arrested on Monday, June 17 and charged with second-degree rape, first-degree disseminating Indecent material to minors, both Class D felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.
Andres Ovalle was arraigned before the Village of Brewster Court, and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secure bond.
Andres Ovalle is next scheduled to appear in court on Friday, June 21.
