Survey Reveals What Cars Get Most Traffic Tickets

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Driving the wrong car doesn't guarantee a driver will get a ticket, but according to insurance.com, drivers of certain cars tend to catch the attention of police more than others.

The Subaru WRX ranks at the top of the list of most-ticketed vehicles.

The top ticket-getting car is the Subaru WRX, according to instance.com's ranking, with 33.6 percent of drivers who are behind the wheel of the all-wheel drive sports sedan reported getting violations from authorities.

Not all cars on the list are vehicles one might find in "The Fast and the Furious" movie franchise, however. SUVs like the Subaru Tribeca and the Toyota FJ Cruiser also made the list at Nos. 5 and 9, respectively.
