Putnam Sheriff's Investigator Graduates From FBI National Academy

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – Putnam Sheriff’s Investigator Robert Tichy graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Academy in a ceremony held in Quantico, Va., reports the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.

Tichy is a criminal investigator assigned to the department’s identification and forensics unit. He has served in the Sheriff’s Office for more than thirteen years. He was a corrections officer, patrol deputy and spent four years in the Narcotics Enforcement Unit until his promotion to investigator in 2010, according to the sheriff’s department.
