Boo has had a tough time since his owner passed away, the animal shelter said.
The “velvety soft” male cat came to the shelter “scared, shut down and confused,” it said.
But extra love and attention brought him out of his shell and he’s now very outgoing, it said.
He plays with toys and loves to be petted.
The shelter said Boo, and other cats up for adoption, can be visited from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Sundays through Saturdays. Dogs can be visited from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The shelter is located at 68 Old Route 6.
