Putnam County Health Department Schedules Flu Clinics

PUTNAM, N.Y. – The county Department of Health has two flu clinics scheduled for Putnam County residents 18 and older.

The Putnam County Health Department is having flu clinics at the Garrison and Carmel fire departments in October.

Appointments are not necessary, but a signed consent form is required and can be downloaded online. Forms also will be available at the clinic, if needed.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 2-6:30 p.m. at the Garrison Fire Department, 1616 Route 9, Garrison
  • Monday, Oct. 19, from 2-6:30 p.m. at the Carmel Fire Department, Route 52 and Vink Drive, Carmel

The fee is $25 for residents younger than 65 and not on Medicare. There is no charge for anyone older than 65 or on Medicare. Proof of residency (driver’s license) is required. The pneumonia vaccine will not be available through the department’s public flu clinics this year.
