Putnam Could See Storms As Weekend Wraps Up

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The weekend will feature some more beautiful summer weather but that will end early on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain won't interrupt our weekend until this Sunday.

Saturday will be another delightful day with sunny skies and a high of around 85.

Sunday is when the weather will take a turn for the worse with a 40-percent chance of thunderstorms beginning late Saturday night into the early hours of Sunday morning.

As the workweek comes back around, thunderstorms may continue with a 30-percent chance of rain Sunday night and Monday.
