PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Interstate 84 has reopened after all eastbound lanes were closed for several hours following a serious accident involving a tractor-trailer and a car Friday.
The pre-dawn accident occurred between Ludingtonville Road (Exit 17) and Route 311 (Exit 18) with traffic backed up to the Taconic Parkway interchange (Exit 16).
