The Kent Police Department received a call from a resident of Hortontown Road who reported a dispute at a residence on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officials report.
One of the parties involved reportedly left the residence in a 2006 Mitsubishi, according to police.
While responding to the scene officers located the vehicle traveling on Farmers Mills Road, police report.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was identified as Kent resident Peter Fokine Jr., 39, according to officials.
An investigation by the officers determined that Fokine was intoxicated, police report.
Fokine was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI and felony DWI, due to a previous DWI conviction in 2014, police report.
Fokine was arraigned ibefore Kent Town Justice Kevin Douchkoff, and held at the Putnam County Correctional Facility on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond, officials report.
No charges were filed in the original call for a dispute, according to police.
