Kent Library Hosts Firewood Talk

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Cornell Cooperative Extension educators will give a talk on heating with firewood from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kent Public Library.

The talk will cover using firewood for home heating, state regulations, how to choose and store wood and what to do about insects that may hitch a ride along with the firewood.
