Hackers' Ability To Control Car Sparks Concern

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A recent experiment by Wired Magazine is raising concerns among modern car owners about potential exposure to hackers, according to USA Today. 

Two security experts were able to access the computer of a Jeep Cherokee and shut the vehicle down remotely.

Two security experts were able to install malware into the system of a Jeep Cherokee that allowed them to change the radio station, turn up the air conditioning and ultimately shut down the transmission of the vehicle, USA Today reported.
