An accident that initially closed both lanes and construction several miles away have resulted in separate delays on westbound I-84 on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash, reported just before 1 p.m., occurred at I-684 (Exit 20), with stop-and-go backups extending to Saw Mill Road (Exit 1).
Farther west, road construction has resulted in the closure of one lane between Lime Kiln Road (Exit 15) and Route 9 (Exit 13), with traffic backed up to the Taconic State Parkway (Exit 16) on the westbound side.
