Big Trucks Will Make Appearance At Kent Library

KENT, N.Y. -- The Kent Public Library will be hosting a “Big Truck and Community Vehicle Day,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18.

The library's parking lot will be filled with construction trucks from the highway department, a police car, fire engines and more, according to a press release.

Families are invited to touch, climb on and explore these vehicles in a supervised environment. Children may even get to honk the horn. Meet the people who drive the big trucks and police cars and learn about the important jobs they have in our community, according to a press release.

The rain date is Aug. 1. The library is at 17 Sybil's Crossing off Route 52. For more information, call 845-225-8585.
