During the show's auditions, Ayala performed the song "Mississippi Queen," and not one, but three of the judges vied for the chance to be her coach during the competition. She selected Adam Levine as her mentor and coach.
Ayala began singing when she was three-year-old when she performed a Marc Anthony song during a camp talent show. Since then, she has been singing and learning about recording technology at school. Outside of the classroom, Ayala took part in "Illusion," a rock music and dance event produced by students each year. As part of group, Ayala was also able to perform at Disney World.
The show airs at 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday on NBC.
