Hopewell Junction's Xtra Change II Offers Residents Chance To Buy, Sell

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. - The Xtra Change II in Hopewell Junction offers people a place to bring household items, jewelry, electronics, designer goods, collectibles, antiques, and whatever else you may have laying around your place of residence, to buy, sell, trade or consign.

The Hopewell store is the second to open in the area, the first being in Mahopac. Xtra Change and Xtra Change II also recently started offering repairs on Apple products and game consoles.

Hopewell managers Jason Varian and Russ Chiacchia are both disabled veterans who served in Iraq - Chiacchia in the Marines, and Varian in the Army.

"We can buy stuff outright, or do consignment," Varian told Daily Voice. "For people who may be trying to downsize, we'll buy their items. We specialize in designer handbags, costume jewelry, electronics, cell phones, tablets... If someone is upgrading, we can usually buy the old item and help get them some cash."
